Dr. Emery from Ventura, California has acted as a catalyst for getting this program up
and running. Although the program is still in its infancy, it continues to make progress.
The program however needs continued financial assistance so that the surgeons can be
further trained in these procedures. Consequently, Dr. and Mrs. Emery have returned to
Kabul three times in the past 18 months to help facilitate this new program.
NOTE:
